Our Privacy Policy explains how we manage this website as far as personal user data processing is concerned.
According to the article 13 of Bill 196/03 – Code about personal data processing – there should be a report for those who visit our websites – www.italnews.tv, www.chiantinws.it, www.toscananews.com, www.toscanaechiantinews.com. The report does refer to the websites above mentioned only and not to other sites user may find linked there.
The abovementioned websites belong and are managed by Web & Press Edizioni (D.Lgs 196/03). Web & Press Edizioni guarantees the full respect of the Law about Personal Data Protection. Users must read carefully the Privacy Policy before sending any personal information and/or filling any form on the site.

What information we collect and why
1) Surfing data
The data processing systems and software procedures acquire, in the usual working, some personal data implicitly sent by the Internet communication protocols.
These data could allow, through association and processing third parties might have, to identify users (i.e. IP address, names of pc websites used by users, etc.).These data are used for statistic reasons only (and are therefore anonymous) and to check the proper functioning of the website; they are deleted immediately after they have been processed.
In any case the data related to web contacts are kept for no longer than seven days, unless ascertained an information crime against the site.
Data due to web services provided will be neither disclosed nor spread.

2) Data given spontaneously by users
Sending personal data to have access to specific services, to send emails, subscribe newsletter, etc., implies that Web & Press Edizioni S.r.l. acquires sender’s address and/or other personal data which will be used only to provide the service requested.
Users’ personal data will be disclosed where we are obliged or permitted to do so to comply with what users request.

3) Cookies
We do not use cookies to pass personal information, or the so-called permanent cookies of any type, or User Tracking Systems.
The use of the so-called session cookies (which are not stored permanently in your hard disk and are cancelled after you quit the browser) is strictly limited to pass the data necessary for the session (made of random numbers generated by the server) to allow an efficient and safe site exploration.
These session cookies avoid using other information techniques potentially prejudicial to user privacy and do not allow third parties to get user personal data.

Processing Method
The processing uses automatic tools (i.e. through electronic procedures and supports) and/or is made manually (i.e. on paper) only for the time necessary to achieve the goals for which the data are collected.
Everything complies with the current regulations.

Option of sending data
Except for what said above about the data necessary to visit the site, users are free to submit their personal data. The only risk it not to get what requested.

Users’ rights
Users have the right to know in any moment if we have data about them and what data, to check if they are correct and to ask us to correct any inaccuracy or to update them (art. 7 D.Lgs 196/03).
According to this article users have the right to ask for deleting, transforming into anonymous details and blocking the data processed against law, besides opposing their processing for valid reasons.
