It is a calendar dedicated to entertainment and the re-discovery of popular traditions organised in July in Tavarnelle.

It begins on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 with “I Giochi dei Rioni”, where the four neighbourhoods of Tavarnelle challenge each other with games.

Do not miss out on the event with the “Fiera della Battitura” on Sunday 20, a fair dedicated to the Chianti farming traditions with various stands that demonstrate the world of the old handicraft trades.

Despite being a Sunday, all the shops will be open for the fair, while you will be able to visit an event of popular songs in the evening.

Every Tuesday in July, there is the Centro Commerciale Naturale “.. di Bottega in Bottega” (Natural Shopping Centre from workshop to workshop) to present “i Martedì… m’incanto” (I’m charmed on Tuesdays) to promote local products and crafts.

“Adotta un Artigiano” (Adopt a Craftsman) is the title given to the great initiative with the place’s craftsmen who exhibit with a demonstration of their craft.

“Il Martedì degli Artisti” (Artists’ Tuesday) is no less entertaining, with various exhibitions by the area’s artists along the village’s streets. And that’s not all. To accompany the hot summer’s nights, there will also be ethnic music with the show “Festa dei Popoli” (the People’s Festival).

And as if all these things were not enough, every Friday “Viva la Piazza, la Piazza Vive” (Long live the Square, the Square Lives) will take place: a concert evening in Piazza Matteotti.
