Three days of events dedicated to artistic expression of any kind in the heart of Chianti among breathtaking scenery and views. The 3rd edition of “La Festa dell’Arte” returns to Panzano in Chianti, which will liven up the town’s historic centre on Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July. The undisputed protagonists will be many passionate artists and their painting and sculpture works, which will be judged to award the original prize winners that are linked to the land at the end of the event: the “cantinette di vino”.

“La Festa dell’Arte” will open on Friday 4 July at 18:30 at Limonaia di Pescille, with a delicious aperitif accompanied by good music. At 19:30 it will be the turn of the presentation of the catalogue of the works that have won the “Panzano Prize” from 1961 to 1985. There will then be a debate on art and the territory before a dinner based on the typical flavours of the area. The event will become live on the afternoon of Saturday 5 July. From 15:00 to 23:00, the artists will work along the streets of the historic centre and under the castle walls, accompanied by musical shows and different catering points for the visitors. The concert by Camillocromo is organised to take place at 21:30. On Sunday 6 July, the “Festa dell’Arte” will start at 11:00. The artists will work live until 19:00 before the award ceremony that will bring the event to a close with the awarding of prizes to artists who have achieved major success by the public and the panel for the works created during the two days.

The Festa dell’Arte is promoted by the Il Pidocchio Not-for-profit Association, under the artistic management of Carlo Fagiani.
Headed up by Anna Saccone, the association was set up to promote cultural activities in Panzano in Chianti and to increase the value of the local traditions and spirit where hospitality ever more often meets art.
