The Heroic is a period bike race run on mainly unmade-up roads.

It is special from all points of view. It proposes settings and scenographies of pre-War cycling, dust and mud, no technical assistance, period restorations, wonderful but difficult roads, a great spirit of sacrifice and adaptation.

A search is made for the authentic roots of this extraordinary popular passion for cycling, one that has given rise to so many legends...
